The high cost of childcare and baby essentials in the U.S. puts a significant financial strain on families, making it difficult for parents to provide for their children while maintaining stability. Many working parents struggle to afford quality childcare, forcing them to make tough choices between career advancement and caregiving.

Additionally, the rising costs of baby necessities—such as diapers, formula, and clothing—add to the burden. According to the U.S. Department of Labor, childcare costs have increased by over 200% in the past three decades, making it one of the largest household expenses for families.

Access to affordable childcare and essential baby supplies is fundamental to a child’s healthy development and a family’s well-being. No parent should have to choose between paying rent and providing for their child’s basic needs.
